Requirements for entry to Algeria

​

Diplomatic Visa:

​

NO Visa required for holders of diplomatic and official passports.

​

Tourism Visa:

​

- Minimum 6 months valid passport

- Invitation letter or confirmation of accommodation booking in Algeria

- Return flight ticket

- Proof of type of business engaged in

- Proof of availability of funds during the stay in Algeria

- Proof of residence in Namibia (only required for non-Namibian citizens)

- Visa fees: please inquire about visa fees

- Application form to be filled in duplicate + 2 passport photos

Business Visa:

​

- Minimum 6 months valid passport

- Official invitation letter or confirmation of accommodation booking in Algeria

- Type of business (in detail )

- Purpose of visit

- Return flight ticket

- Proof of residence in Namibia (only required for non-Namibian citizens)

- Visa fees: please inquire about visa fees

- Application form to be filled in duplicate + 2 passport photos

 

Press Visa:

- Minimum 6 months valid passport

- Official invitation letter or purpose of visit

- Copy of professional identity card

- Return flight ticket

Transit Visa:

​

- Minimum 6 months valid passport

- Period/Duration of Transit

- Air ticket

- Visa of final destination

- Visa fees: please inquire about visa fees

- Application form to be filled in duplicate + 2 passport photos

Visa application Process:

         

        Please note the Following:

​

  • Read carefully the instructions in the types of visa before you submit your application.

  • The Applicant shall submit his application in person at the Embassy.

  • Incomplete applications will not be processed.

  • The visa fees should be paid in cash only.

  • There will be no refund if the entree visa is rejected.

  •  The process application of the visa is 5 working days.

Who can apply for visa at the Embassy of Algeria in Windhoek ?

​

  • National of  Republic of Namibia;

​​

  • Permanent or temporary foreigner resident, living in Namibia (please enclose copy of the stay permit to your visa application)

​​

  • Kindly note that foreigners who are visiting Namibia as tourists need to apply for visa to Algeria in their respective countries of origin or of residence.

​​

  • Some nationals may need to submit more documents (such as proof of travel insurance). Please contact the Embassy (the consular section) for more information.
